Wise Third Eye - keyword original mixed media art on paper, framed

WISE THIRD EYE is a mixed media work in the KeyWord series. A lot goes into to this... OK ready?

First, I took a photo of a typewriter (one of the many in out collection). I use Photoshop as my digital darkroom. And created the rubber stamp look. I extracted the keys of the photo to create a whole alphabet. And then designed the structure of 4 rows of 3 letter statements. Most are distilled mediations - either fitting exact or omitting a letter to fit.
From my favorite paper house in LA, I selected the handmade paper, with deckle edge on all sides, from Nepal. It feels so earthy yet spiritual. Had to create a feeder sheet to get through my large format Epson printer. And did! So it is printed with archival inks.
To enrich it even deeper, I handprinted each Keyword in that series with metallic gold, silver, whites and pinks.
The wonderful framer, Ramon, made a black shadow box frame for it with plexiglass on top and black wood frame.
